Speak to God

Spiritual work and a spiritual life are unspoken and unnoticed daily activities known to man. You might say to me - but that's obvious. But because of the space we find ourselves in, other things take precedence over our spiritual time. We find people priding themselves in the work ethic and how much they have built, good as that is one can neglect the spiritual growth needed to enjoy the finer things in life. In order to have a fulfilled life your spirit has to be a happy one. A person on their deathbed will always express the importance of enjoying life, they hardly mention the need for money and assets as they slip onto the other side. People may even say spiritual activities are designated for certain people. However, connections with God are not always smooth sailing. This is because there are multiple ways that your spirit might connect with God. Questions I have for you are, are you aware of how to connect with God? Do you know that there might be several ways that ...

So Spring Up

We are ushering in Spring and with it comes a great opportunity to clean up your home, your mind, your soul, your spirit and do some Spring cleaning all round. I was talking to two friends about the season I’m in and how I felt there were certain things happening on the physiological level and on the spiritual level. When I Said Yes To Me

There comes a point when being consumed by everything needs to stop. You find the people around you boring. The family drama draining. Next thing it was 29, now I am 30 (please note how much I’ve been editing this post). In a space of a few weeks prior to my 29 th birthday I was so unhappy with where I was in life. The flat I lived in was cold and dark. It was a true reflection of me and where I was emotionally. I needed it to stop. A friend invited me to an all expenses paid holiday in Cape Town. I grabbed the chance and was on a plane to the beginning of my 29 th year. I had a blast and on that Sunday afternoon friends invited us to climb Lion’s Head an landmark that will test your hiking and climbing abilities. I was there ready to climb this mountain. In my head I thought easy peasy. But littl...
